Doula Support

All-inclusive support for organ failure patients, transplant patients, living organ donors, patients who have been given a terminal diagnosis (that is or isn’t related to organ failure) or caregivers.

One Month at a Time

This support is offered in-person for those located within 15 miles of Boynton Beach, Florida and virtual for everyone else.

HOW IT WORKS

Your experience—no matter your situation—does not follow a fixed timeline. For this reason, my monthly structure offers you flexibility around when and how you receive support.

Because this is a one-month container, there is never any worry about what is and is not supported—or getting stuck trying to fill hours when you don’t feel open to it. We can work together for only one month or for several consecutive months in a row.

This monthly container is equally supportive of unforeseen circumstances and crises for caregivers. For example, if an unexpected emergency hospital visit, surgery, and/or death occurs during the month we are actively working together, the focus shifts to fully supporting your caregiver for the remaining container. If we aren’t working together and an issue occurs, your caregiver can reach out and receive the same structure of support for their experience.

INCLUDED

Daily Check-in
I will check in with both you and/or your primary caregiver via either text or voice note. There is never any pressure to respond.

Weekly Rumble
Once a week, we will meet for up to 2 hours. This time is dedicated to any area of focus you feel is important to you.

Unlimited Communication
Reach me via text, phone, or email throughout the month whenever you need me. I am “on call” for you.

Crisis Support
If unforeseen circumstances occur during the month of support, you and your caregiver have me in your back pocket, ready to support in care goals, resource planning, care team development, and more.

In the Event of Death
If vigil begins during the month, I will provide ongoing virtual support to the primary caregiver via phone/text (or up to 6 hours of in-person support by invitation only for those in local areas). From there, the primary caregiver will be fully supported as they navigate after-death care. Weekly rumbles (virtual or in-person) continue for the duration of the month, as will check-ins and unlimited communication.

Virtual: $450/Month   |    In-Person: $850/Month

Questions and Answers for Monthly Support

Monthly Support: In-Person

Where will we meet for our weekly Rumble?

We have choices! Your home, the hospital/facility you’re in if applicable, a local spot, or a virtual meeting via FaceTime/Zoom/phone call is fine, too, although I try to encourage in-person as much as possible. The means will depend on your comfort and energy level.

Can you run errands as part of your in-person support?

No, I do not run errands on your or your caregiver’s behalf—but I’m happy to help organize to have someone handle it through a third-party service like DoorDash, Instacart, etc.

What if I'm slightly farther than 15 miles outside of Boynton Beach?

I consider farther locations on a case-by-case basis. Reach out, and let’s discuss.

Hard to ask this but...what if I die during the month's timeframe?

❤ The remaining time in the month will be dedicated to supporting your caregiver through vigil and after-death care in this situation.

Can I do in-person one month, and virtual another?

Absolutely. You can choose whatever type of support you want for the month (31 consecutive days) you feel most comfortable with.

Can I do in-person one month, and then use the as-needed option? Or vice versa?

Again—absolutely! It can all be tailored to what you feel you need.

Monthly Support: Virtual

Can you run errands as part of your in-person support?

No, I do not run errands on your or your caregiver’s behalf—but I’m happy to help organize to have someone handle it through a third-party service like DoorDash, Instacart, etc.

How will you know if a health event occurs during the month we're working together?

We will establish a communication protocol with your primary caregiver and/or care team to alert me if a significant event occurs and you are unable to communicate with me yourself.

Hard to ask this but...what if I die during the month's timeframe?

❤ The remaining time in the month will be dedicated to supporting your caregiver—as long as they are willing and able.

What if I'm local to your service area but prefer virtual support?

That’s totally fine! Just because you’re local doesn’t mean you need to use in-person support…the choice is always yours.

Can I do virtual one month, and then use the as-needed option? Or vice versa?

Again—absolutely! It can all be tailored to what you feel you need.
